This individual gold Maple Leaf is embedded with a 0.999 pure gold maple leaf for identification, each with its individualized face and color. Furthermore, the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf bars are fully legal tender, because they meet the definition of Gold or Silver Coins. Canadian Gold Maple Leafs also have a special blend of 99.9% pure physical gold as well as a 70% silver content.
